Beauty Retail Assistant - Leigh-on-Sea - Part Time

Nestled in the independent-thriving heart of Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, The Remedy is a beauty retail concept that champions clean beauty, sustainable brands and encourages eco-friendly living, and we’re looking for someone who shares that vision to join our team as a Beauty Retail Assistant.
About the Role
This is a customer-facing role where you’ll bring our ethos to life on the shop floor. From guiding customers through our skincare, make-up, and wellbeing products, to creating a welcoming space where they feel supported and inspired. Your role isn’t about selling products, it’s about connecting with customers and helping them make choices right for them.
You’ll offer product knowledge (with training provided), help customers discover conscious swaps, and share our love for brands that put people and planet first.
Who We’re Looking For
We’d love to meet someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for skincare, make-up, and wellbeing
- Has retail experience and enjoys customer-facing environments
- Shares our values of sustainability, conscious-living, and community
- Enjoys being part of a growing business while being a key member of our small yet supportive and proactive team
- Shifts are to be confirmed, but some weekends during busy periods will be required. Due to trading hours, shifts to suit school hours will be available.
Shifts
- Initial trial period of one shift per week, increasing during the run up to Christmas.
- From mid-January, the role will grow to 2 shifts per week.
